I’m Lucy Grimwade, coach and founder of The Wonder.

I have a BSc in Computing, ITIL qualifications in Foundation, Design and Transition as well as certifications in Project Management, Online Marketing, Digital Transformation and Business Change. I am currently undertaking an accredited ICF Coaching Programme to give me the qualification to compliment my experience.

My career journey started working on an IT Service Desk as first line IT Support. By taking on new opportunities, being very curious and always challenging the status quo, I have progressed up the career ladder from first line to second line then into service delivery to finally landing a management position.

I have encountered many challenges along the way, from lack of support or access to coaching, to bad company cultures with glass ceilings and, of course, the gender pay gap.  I have experienced first-hand damaging situations that can so easily cause self-doubt, yet have found and grasped opportunities to shine and progress.

The truth is, it’s hard being a woman in business and harder still being a woman in the IT/Digital game.

With my passion for people, digital knowledge and business experience I work and partner as a consultant with entrepreneurs and small businesses such as Technology for Good, JJ Fashions, Success at 50 Revolution and TFW where I have been a part of shaping and creating their strategies to digitalise and build their brands to reach a wider audience to grow, excel and succeed.

I created The Wonder to be a platform where I can share my experience to help and shape others on their own journeys. Who better to work with on your personal development, business or both than a woman who has already experienced the glass ceiling, broken through it and is thriving.
